As we gather, we have much to thank you for—
the breaking of another day,
the comfort and beauty of this house of worship,
the religious freedoms we enjoy in this country,
our fellow believers gathered with us,
the songs of praise and the words of hope,
and—above all—the presence of your Spirit.
